Transfer Oil S.p.A., a leading Italian manufacturer of reinforced thermoplastic hoses, fittings and hose assemblies for hydraulic, industrial and ultra-high-pressure applications, today announced the acquisition of the Astrolyne® lubrication hose assemblies business unit.
The acquisition marks the next step in a long-standing industrial partnership. For decades, Astrolyne has sourced thermoplastic hoses predominantly from Transfer Oil and assembled them — cut to length and fitted — to serve leading manufacturers and distributors in the manual grease pump and lubrication equipment segment. By bringing this specialized assembly activity into its industrial environment, Transfer Oil reinforces continuity for the market while creating a stronger platform for future development.

Integration structured for continuity
Transfer Oil has designed the integration to preserve established product expectations and supply-chain stability. The dedicated personnel, tooling and equipment historically used for Astrolyne® lubrication hose assemblies will be transferred and integrated into Transfer Oil facilities, near the current operations, supporting continuity in manufacturing routines while strengthening process control, efficiency and scalability.
Brand and corporate update
As part of the transaction, Transfer Oil has acquired the rights to the Astrolyne® brand. The company formerly operating as Astrolyne S.r.l. has been renamed TM S.r.l., and its business scope has been revised; it will no longer manufacture or supply hose assemblies.
